Rosa has worked in the fitness industry for over 35 years and is the proud owner of The Boat House Gym. Rosa is a firm but fair trainer who gets results. She is the lead trainer for our 6 Week Weight Loss Challenges and commits herself 100% to everything she undertakes.

Leeana comes from a professional cycling background, so it's no surprise that spin classes are her thing! Her main experience is in performance based training and she will get you correctly fitted to the the spin bike no matter what your physical abilities are. After that, all you need to do is enjoy!

Pam is one of our passionate Yoga and Pilates Instructors, helping our members to combine simple meditation, breath control and specific bodily postures and core strength exercises to improve overall health, fitness & relaxation.

Kate is our social media & member support, gal, working in design, web & print advertising & social media. Kate loves helping members of the gym. Kate gets a lot of exercise running away and hiding from Rosa to avoid Personal Training sessions.

Ben is a qualified personal trainer, group fitness instructor. Always busy working, you'll meet Ben on Wednesdays and Fridays in the gym, running a class, manning the desk or encouraging you to go a bit harder in a PT Session. Ben is also studying a Masters in Clinical exercise and rehabilitation and is heavily involved in body building.

Deb, our step and pump instructor has been at the BHG for the last 4 years. Her step class is a masterpiece and the routines are always fun and fresh. Deb has a loyal following of BHG members who can't speak highly enough of her.

Frank has 35 years in the fitness Industry, beginning as a gym manager in Mornington in 1984, then buying that gym in 1980. He moved to Asia in the late 90's where the industry was still in it's infancy. Frank retired from Director of Fitness First Asia in late 2017 and is happy to be still teaching at 6o, back home with family & friends and working part time at Bunnings.

Super Sarah is the one responsible for our sparkling clean gym! Sarah is a hard worker with fantastic attention to detail, and always has a smile on her face. Our members love having a quick chat with Sarah, she brightens up Boat House in more ways than one :)

Taihere's cuteness lets him get away with murder! T's been here for 3 years, learning, gaining and practising his knowledge that saw him complete his qualifications. You will also see him at our local Woolies making sure the shelves are stocked so we can get all our favorite goodies!

Peter is the only certified Strong First Level 2 Certified Strength & Conditioning Trainer on the Peninsula. Specialising in Kettlebells, he makes Mobility & Strength training enjoyable & attainable for all. You should definitely give this class a try!

Our Location
We are lucky enough to be located in one of the most beautiful spots in Victoria. Situated close to the front beach in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula, we are fortunate to be surrounded by stunning beaches and an endless choice of natural wonders to explore. When we aren't in the gym we love nothing more than sinking our feet into the sand, taking the dogs for a walk or going for a run on a secluded bush track. Bliss!

We are located next to the Rye Tennis Club. Turn into Elgan Ave from the highway and then first right into Maori St. This bends around into Recreation Rd.
We always look forward to Summer and Cinzia. She's a dynamic and energetic powerhouse and we are blessed to have her talents in the boathouse as a group fitness instructor.

Taking care of our environment and being as sustainable as possible is very important to us as a business. We are now the only gym on the Mornington Peninsula that is Solar Powered! We use environmentally friendly cleaning products and aim to reuse & recycle wherever we can. We believe that even the smallest positive change can make a difference.
