Rosa has worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years and is the proud owner of the boat house gym. Rosa is a firm but fair trainer who gets results. She is the lead trainer for our 6 Week Weight Loss Challenges and commits herself 100% to everything she undertakes.

Gina was recruited all the way from the USA for her expertise in group fitness & personal training. Gina is a qualified instructor in pilates, zumba, stability ball, spinning, martial arts...the list goes on! Gina has competed on the Arnold Stage in the USA and brings loads of energy to the gym!

Pam is our passionate Yoga Instructor helping our members to combines simple meditation, breath control and specific bodily postures to improve overall health & relaxation.

Kate is our Marketing and Membership Manager, also working in design, web & print advertising & social media. She loves helping members of the gym.
Kate gets a lot of exercise running away and hiding from Rosa to avoid Personal Training sessions. |
Will is a qualified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and takes our class. He is studying Remedial Massage at Chisholm Tafe and plays Footy and Basketball in his spare time.

Lauren is a qualified group fitness instructor and specialises in Pump & Step classes. She has a vivacious, outgoing personality and her classes are loud and loads of fun. Lauren loves running to keep fit and has a young family to keep her on her toes.

Frank has 35 years in the fitness Industry, beginning as a gym manager in Mornington in 1984, then buying that gym in 1980. He moved to Asia in the late 90's where the industry was still in it's infancy. Frank retired from Director of Fitness First Asia in late 2017 and is happy to be still teaching at 6o, back home with family & friends and working part time at Bunnings.

Sally. for the past 30 years she has been a Primary school teacher (Physical Education mostly) and has recently fulfilled her dream of becoming a group fitness instructor. She is also a life coach. Sally's interests include fitness and going to the gym (obviously!), boating, the beach, holidays, my dogs, and spending time with family and friends.

Lovely Laura is the one responsible for our sparkling clean gym! Laura is a hard worker with fantastic attention to detail, and always has a smile on her face. Our members love having a quick chat with Laura, she brightens up Boat House in more ways than one :)

Our Location
We are lucky enough to be located in one of the most beautiful spots in Victoria. Situated close to the front beach in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula, we are fortunate to be surrounded by stunning beaches and an endless choice of natural wonders to explore. When we aren't in the gym we love nothing more than sinking our feet into the sand, taking the dogs for a walk or going for a run on a secluded bush track. Bliss!

We are located next to the Rye Tennis Club. Turn into Elgan Ave from the highway and then first right into Maori St. This bends around into Recreation Rd.

Taking care of our environment and being as sustainable as possible is very important to us as a business. We are now the only gym on the Mornington Peninsula that is Solar Powered! We use environmentally friendly cleaning products and aim to reuse & recycle wherever we can. We believe that even the smallest positive change can make a difference. If we could all help each other, including animals, in even very small ways, the world would be a kinder, more sustainable and safer place for all of us.
